JF&CS (Jewish Family & Career Services) is now seeking a part-time Young Adult Clinician to join our clinical team.
 
In this role, you will provide counseling (primarily individual and group modalities) to a range of clients, with a particular focus on college students. You will also conduct wellness presentations and topical seminars as needed and offer referrals. This is an opportunity to join a likeminded group of clinical professionals, some who have been with JF&CS for more than 20 years, to make a positive change in the lives of those in our community.

Your Essential Responsibilities:
  • Carry a clinical caseload
  • Conduct groups and facilitate prevention/education activities
  • Provide services at more than one of the agency’s locations
  • Communicate and consult with host/partner organizations as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 5 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

  • You possess excellent clinical skills
  • You have excellent knowledge of community resources
  • You are comfortable with using the telephone and speaking to people regularly 
  • You work well with others and are also able to function independently 
  • You possess excellent decision-making skills and can manage stressful situations 
  • You possess the required educational qualifications 
Education: Master’s degree in counseling or social work.
