Perelman Jewish Day School’s Stern Center campus, located in Wynnewood, PA is seeking a Transportation Coordinator. Job Type: Full-time The Transportation Coordinator oversees bus transportation to the Stern Center of Perelman Jewish Day School in Wynnewood, including the establishment and revision of bus routes and resolution of student transportation issues. The Coordinator works with principals and front offices on campus as well as parents of students. Preparation of current and long-range student transportation plans is included. This position reports to the Director of Finance and Operations.
? Timely communication with families and school principals regarding late or canceled buses.
? Communication with principals regarding necessary adjustments in routes or times.
? Assisting with campus logistics at arrival and dismissal of students.
? Managing communication with parents in the early morning and late afternoon until buses deliver all children and any problems are resolved.
? Responding to parent questions regarding transportation services.
? Maintaining situational awareness (weather, traffic, delayed opening/early dismissal, school closings) to make rapid adjustments to transportation services.
Applicants for this position must have excellent oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to multitask and strategize short and long-term solutions. Strong interpersonal skills, and attention to detail and accuracy, are necessary. This role requires the ability to use Google Workspace as well as all forms of electronic communication.
