Our charming, whole-child focused, and rigorous school is looking for an experienced Jewish Studies teacher to join our close-knit team. We enjoy educators who are deeply invested in seeing kids succeed and love the passion, humor, and intellect that comes with quirky kids and believe that school should be both rigorous and joyful. Our team of educators is dedicated to collaboration, celebration, and leading by example. Applicants must be familiar with the Reform Movement and progressive education.

*Be an experienced educator with 3+ years of experience as Jewish Educator
*Be a passionate, well-informed educator who is responsive to research
*Cooperate with other faculty members and administrative staff in planning and implementing instructional goals, objectives and methods
* Responsive Classroom experience preferred
*Have experience with constructivist learning
*Prepare lessons that reflect differentiation for individual student needs
*Represent a positive role model for students reflective of the mission of the school
*Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social and emotional development of students
*Manage classroom community and student behavior according to the school philosophy
*Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

*Understand customer service as a value in education

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
