Part-Time Position Opening:
Youth Coordinator
The Youth Coordinator is responsible for creating and executing dynamic and experiential holiday programming for PreK-12th grade learners at JCP Downtown.
BACKGROUND
The Jewish Community Project (JCP) of Lower Manhattan was founded in 2002 as a grassroots effort to grow Jewish life in downtown NYC. Based in Tribeca, JCP is an open and organic Jewish community that enables individuals and families to become a creative force in the life of the organization through educational, cultural, social, and spiritual experiences. The organization now serves approximately 300 downtown families and individuals, and also operates a prominent Early Childhood Center (ECC) and Hebrew School Project (HSP).

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION
Create and execute experiential education opportunities during Jewish holidays to engage learners in grades PreK-12. This includes:

Other tasks and projects as assigned by the Director of the Hebrew School Project and by the Rabbi, as needed.
The ideal candidate will be available for part-time work as soon as July and:
Salary is $4,500-$8,000, commensurate with experience.
