Role Overview

We are seeking a team player whose excitement shines in helping HIllel International reach its fundraising goals. Hillel International , the world’s largest Jewish college organization, seeks to inspire every Jewish student to make an enduring commitment to Jewish life, learning and Israel. The position will be based at the Hillel International headquarters at the Schusterman International Center in Washington D.C., or at the Hillel International offices in New York City. Remote candidates will also be considered.

- Ability to analyze data and create a plan for growth from information gleaned from the analysis.
- Flexibility to travel periodically.
- High level of proficiency with PCs and Microsoft OS, Excel, Word, Outlook
- A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.

Job Responsibilities
- Oversee and implement a strategy to identify and cultivate high net worth donors currently giving under $25,000. Working in partnership with the Manager of Prospect Development to identify a portfolio of donors to nurture and grow existing relationships with to increase overall annual giving.
- Support gift officers and Hillel’s senior leadership in ongoing donor communications, tracking interactions in the database (Salesforce), monitoring prospect notes to ensure completion of next steps, and coordinating across team members as needed.
- Manage tasks related to the communication with and moves management of attendees of fundraising events and stakeholder experiences, working with the Director of Leadership Gift Operations and Leadership Giving Team to support both pre-and post-event follow up.
- Prepare pre-meeting materials, working in partnership with the prospect research team to compile, annotate and present information. Develop relevant materials, proposals and information necessary for yourself and other fundraisers to be best prepared for and follow up from meetings.
- Identify and implement high level donor engagement opportunities, in partnership with the Director of Leadership Giving Operations, that deepen donors' connection to the Hillel movement.
- Develop working knowledge of Hillel’s programmatic offerings and understanding of available content catalogue through participation in ongoing meetings with the Philanthropic Partnerships team to best support follow-up to donor meetings, including coordinating proposal development
