The salary range for this role is $50,000-$54,000.

 

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

As the Teen Philanthropy Program Associate, you will lead and grow JUF’s teen philanthropy initiatives—including Voices: The Chicago Jewish Teen Foundation’s 101 and Alumni Boards, iGive, and Social Justice Giving Circles. You’ll design and implement innovative strategies to expand our reach and deepen teen engagement in Jewish values-driven giving. You’ll collaborate with local organizations to deliver high-impact educational content and mentor emerging teen leaders to become changemakers in their communities.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead the strategic planning, execution, and evaluation of all teen philanthropy programs
  • Oversee recruitment, application processes, and participant onboarding
  • Develop and manage marketing and outreach campaigns
  • Build partnerships with local, national, and international nonprofits to source impactful grant proposals
  • Cultivate relationships with Jewish educators and youth professionals across Chicago to expand program reach
  • Manage teen philanthropy program budget
  • Maintain accurate participant data and engagement records in Salesforce
  • Represent JUF Teens at professional development and networking events
  • Support department-wide teen initiatives, including occasional evening, weekend, and travel-based programming

 

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) in education, social work, nonprofit management, or related field
  • 1+ year of work experience, preferably in youth engagement, camping, or an educational setting
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office required; experience with Salesforce a plus
  • Exceptional communication skills and a passion for inspiring young leaders
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in social media platforms
  • Knowledge of basic Jewish values, customs, and rituals
