Temple Aliyah is a vibrant Conservative egalitarian congregation (approximately 400 families) in Needham, MA. We are currently looking for creative, innovative and dynamic teachers who would like to join our educational team for the 2024-25 school year. Our Mercaz Aliyah School has 65 students and is growing!

We have openings for a Second Grade teacher on Sundays from 9:30-11:45am and Mondays from 3:45-5:45PM.

 Teachers will be expected to:

• Write weekly lesson plans
• Write biweekly emails home to parents
• Support student learning in many aspects of Judaism including: Torah, Hebrew, Holidays, Prayer liturgy, Israel, and Jewish values
• Foster a love of and passion for Judaism among students
• Develop individualized approaches to support each child’s learning
• Enjoy engaging and working with other teachers and parents
• Possess an energetic, warm and caring personality

We offer a competitive hourly salary based on experience as well as required in-house professional development sessions.
