Reporting to the CEO, the Sr. Director of Marketing and Technology is a catalyst for new Marketing Technology capability enablement. They will play a crucial role in the modernization and transformation of marketing technologies at LFJCC by following best practices for building scalable solutions, along with understanding market trends and business needs. In this role, the Sr. Director will be responsible for the comprehensive oversight of all marketing and technology activities of the LFJCC, a dynamic community center and outreach organization. The Sr. Director will be a business leader and subject matter expert for our Marketing Technology platforms, and will engage with all parts of the business to provide leadership, strategy, and solutions for our challenges. Marketing Technology is something we want to invest in heavily and the Sr. Director of Marketing and Technology will be responsible for shaping and defining the Marketing Technology stack for LFJCC. Working alongside the Directors for Sports, Fitness & Aquatics, Community Engagement, Philanthropy, Cultural Arts Programs & Festivals and more, the Sr. Director will formulate, design and deliver a stack which will transform the future of Marketing at LFJCC. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned, strategic and process-minded leader experienced in overseeing managers and staff, with the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships among a group of diverse and talented individuals.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field required, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing technology and/or marketing data management role.
  • Experience leading sophisticated cross-departmental teams.
  • Fluent in all relevant technologies- especially Salesforce, and have a big picture perspective on the ways in which technology supports, enhances, systematizes and bolsters marketing and business development efficacy.
  • Effective communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Knowledge and ability to execute excellent management, employee engagement and leadership principles and practices.
  • Data driven and analytical mindset.
  • Knowledge of marketing concepts, principles and practices, with a proven ability to focus on key projects, achieving results and demonstrating good judgment.
  • A team player with strong relationship building skills and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of privileged information.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and deploying Marketing Technology solutions in a high growth environment.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Typical office environment and equipment (computer, phone, printer, copy machine, etc.).
  • Typical community center environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms for long periods of time.
  • Lifting, pulling, climbing, kneeling, and bending required for various tech setup.
  • Regularly required to communicate.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
