Part-Time Religious School Teachers (LCLJ)

Central Synagogue in Manhattan is looking for part-time teachers in the Lese Center for Living Judaism (LCLJ), our PreK-12^th grade religious school, for the 2024-2025 school year. We follow a Project-Based Learning curriculum, so this is an amazing opportunity for anyone interested in this model to get some hands-on experience. We are looking for teachers on Mondays through Thursdays at our midtown location and Tuesdays and Thursdays at our downtown location at Hebrew Union College. Hours are approximately 4:00-6:30, with exact timing dependent on day and grade. You can teach between one and four days - all four not required! Job responsibilities include classroom teaching, Hebrew lesson creation, and communication with families.
