Matan is seeking dynamic Professional Development Facilitators to join our team on a contract basis!

We’re looking for individuals with a background in special education, early childhood education, Jewish education, or related fields to lead in-person presentations and trainings, primarily for early childhood programs and congregational schools across the NY metro area. Most sessions take place weekdays during school hours, though occasional evening and Sunday engagements may arise based on community needs.

This is a contractor role with flexible, part-time hours that vary based on demand.

Matan provides all training materials and support—facilitators bring their expertise, passion for inclusion, and engaging presence.

Ideal candidates:

• Have experience in early childhood education, special education, or disability inclusion, each within a Jewish context
• Are familiar with Jewish organizational settings and values, particularly the unique challenges of part-time (congregational school) Jewish education
• Are comfortable leading dynamic professional development workshops 
• Have availability to travel within the tri-state area
• Are looking to take on meaningful, mission-driven contract work

Compensation typically ranges from $250–$400 per session, with rates varying based on whether the training is virtual or in person, and the length and scope of the engagement
