WHAT YOU’LL DO
· Develop and oversee programs designed for adults of all ages, including Changing the World Together (experiential service learning), Jewish learning, Shabbat and holiday programs, books clubs, and other engaging Jewish experiences.
· Facilitate inclusive, relevant Jewish learning experiences.
· Build relationships with participants and volunteers to deepen engagement and cultivate volunteers.
· Collaborate with staff and community partners to develop and program programming.

· Creative Programming Architect - Design, organize, and implement innovative, impactful, and accessible Jewish experiences for adults of all ages and stages.

LISTING OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Education and Engagement:
o Plan and lead Jewish program for adults and families.
o Offer resources and support for people exploring inclusive Jewish life.
o Ensure all programs reflect JYW’s commitment to diversity and belonging.
2. Event Coordination:
o Lead Judaism Your Way’s weekly program planning meeting to insure smooth program implementation.
o Manage event logistics: venues, supplies, schedules, and volunteers.
o Staff evening and weekend programs regularly.
3. Strategic Collaboration and Leadership:
o Align programs with organizational goals.
o Represent JYW in the community as a leader in inclusive Jewish engagement.
4. Volunteer Management
o Oversee volunteer communication, logistics, and systems – especially for High Holidays.
o Maintain volunteer data and reporting tools.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidates must have at least 3 years of successful experience in Jewish education and/or community programming. Knowledge of Jewish traditions, holidays, and values is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Commitment to Jewish communal diversity, inclusion, and belonging, including engagement with LGBTQIA+ people, interfaith families, and Jews of Color.
Work Expectations
- This position requires regular evening and weekend availability, including Shabbat programming, and holidays. Participation in High Holiday services and other major community events is required.
