B'nei Mitzvah Tutor

Job Location: Temple Sinai of Roslyn, Roslyn Heights, NY 

Compensation: $80 per hour

Job Type: In-Person B'nei Mitzvah Tutor

Position Summary:

Temple Sinai is looking for enthusiastic and knowledgeable B'nei Mitzvah Tutors to meet in-person on a weekly basis with our B'nei Mitzvah Students 

Qualifications:

• Have knowledge of Binder/Avery Torah trope
• Be able to teach Hebrew, Torah trope, and prayer skills 
• Be engaging, enthusiastic and passionate about Jewish Education 
• Be a team player, open to creative and collaborative work 
• Be able to guide students with learning differences

Job Responsibilities:

Tutors will work individually with students on Hebrew prayers and Torah reading skills, while boosting learners' self-confidence and positive associations with Jewish tradition.

Work Environment:

Work is performed in a synagogue, in a professional, team focused environment.
