Leading Shabbat & Holiday Services

Be the Rabbi's Clergy partner in matters of ritual & partner in all life cycle events, pastoral visits, leading shiva minyanim

Coordinate and train all B'nai Mitzvah

Raising quality of services musically & spirtually

Leading ECC  ( early childhood) & RS ( religious school) musical events ( classes, shabbats & holiday events)

Build relationship/bond with Religious school parents

Teaching prayers and music in the Religious school

Involvement in special musical projects- musical shabattot, musicians at services, Purim Spiel

Create and lead programs for all demographics of the Congregation

Organize Torah readings on Shabbats and holidays

Train of lay members/students in torah, haftorah and megillah reading

Steady presence with grades 6/7/8 and lending educational support to RS students beyond just music

Attending weekday minyan

Conducting of possible youth and/or adult choirs

Build relationships within HJC and with other Jewish and non-Jewish organizations in the community

Stay current with new and contemporary Jewish music

Coordinate musical instruments at services & other events
