Bookkeeper/Receptionist Position

Full time:  40 hours a week, Monday through Friday 8:15-5:00

Eligibility to be a part of our group health, dental and vision insurance. 

Federal and Jewish Holidays off as well as PTO

Pay $17-$20 an hour based on experience

Hebrew Educational Alliance (HEA), seeks a people-person to staff our front desk and handle bookkeeping duties. 

You are:

The warm and informed voice on the phone as calls come in.

The inviting voice and sharp eye over the intercom for our front door as visitors appear on our security monitor and buzz you for access to our office or Preschool. 

The patient ear as our in person visitors check in for appointments and classes or ask questions about everything from our calendar, their statements and the where abouts of our staff members. 

The creator of Zoom meeting links.

Familiar with Quickbooks, Word, Excel and Outlook platforms.  Microsoft TEAMS and CRM/Data Base program familiarity is a plus. 

The administrative support for our accounts receivable. This includes copying checks, filling out spreadsheets provided by our accounting firm, setting up recurring payments, working with our accounting firm to assure statements are correct, and working with the accounting firm on payment information.

The administrative support for our accounts payable.  This includes reviewing all invoices and coding them for payment, reviewing all invoices submitted by our accounting firm and approving them for payment, reconciling transfers between accounts, reviewing reimbursements from staff and setting them up for payment.  

Willing to pitch in on other administrative tasks as needed.
