Moishe House is excited and grateful to be in a place of ongoing growth and planning for the future. Our growth will come from a combination of continued organic growth in our baseline programs, and new programs that will increase the rate of growth. The VP of Programming, reporting to the Chief Program Officer, will be a key member of the Program Leadership Team, which oversees all global programming at Moishe House. For this role, we are seeking a seasoned professional, supervisor, and partner to build upon and lead our strategic theme of Growth Beyond the Houses. The VP of Programming, will have three direct reports and will supervise our existing MHWOW and Base teams and oversee programming partnerships. They will work with Moishe House leadership and staff to identify and evaluate exciting new program initiatives that will grow unique participation beyond our core community-building house model.
- Design and implement strategy for Growth Beyond the Houses initiatives, in collaboration with CPO and programming staff.
- Grow and strengthen Base and MHWOW programs; establish systems and train staff to ensure long term health and success of these programs which are core to Moishe House’s Growth Beyond the Houses strategy.
- Implement measures for evaluation and analysis of the quality and strategy of Growth Beyond the Houses initiatives at Moishe House; and proactively work with your team to gather, manage, and translate data/analytics to uncover insights, and tell stories that measure impact, drive decisions, and effectuate change.
- Supervise, coach, mentor and train our Base and MHWOW leaders; provide oversight and longer-term vision to team members ensuring competing priorities are managed.
- Create systems of accountability to ensure quality deliverables are produced and timelines are met.
- Lead the team in establishing and monitoring programmatic budgets and conduct forecasting, while collaborating with Moishe House’s budget, finance, and development teams.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as the Program Leadership Team, Development Operations, HR, Marketing, and other shared services in the implementation of the programs.
- Establish strong partnerships with key stakeholder organizations and engage in ongoing relationship-building with funders.

What Are Your Qualifications
- You have a minimum of 10 years professional experience, in progressively responsible positions. Experience in nonprofit organizations is preferred.
- You have a bachelor’s degree in business, non-profit management or another related field. Advanced degree or certification in nonprofit management preferred.
- You have a minimum of 5 years direct management/supervisory experience with full-time employees, including performance management, development, coaching, and building and managing successful teams led by clear vision and goals. Experience supervising multiple levels preferred.
- You’re strategic, results-driven, and entrepreneurial and have a track record of being able to quickly synthesize, categorize and prioritize information, data, multiple agendas, and competing needs with a keen ability to clearly discern the urgent from the routine and needs from desires.
- You have experience with budgets and coordinating complex projects.
- You demonstrate a commitment to pluralistic Jewish community building.
- You have experience working directly with funders and key partners.

- This position requires weekday office hours in one of our Hub offices, and reports to the Chief Program Officer. Beginning in early 2022, we’re excited to be returning to a hybrid work schedule at our Hub Offices, where employees can choose to work remotely 2 days per week and collaborate in-person with coworkers the rest of the week (Wednesday will be a day we are all in the office together!). Employees will receive prior notice in advance of starting this new schedule.

How Moishe House Will Pay You:
- Moishe House’s starting salary ranges are based on education, experience, location, and skillset required for each role. If your salary expectations are different and/or you have more experience than required, let’s talk.
- Starting salary range for this position: $110,000-$120,000
