Right-hand Executive Assistant to the renowned Senior Rabbi of an innovative, forward-thinking, and dynamic midtown NYC reform synagogue. This organization truly practices tikkun olam - "repairing the world" - being involved in social action programs, social justice groups, as well as an on-site Men's Shelter and Emergency Food Program.
They are known as a leading voice and influencer in the Jewish reform movement.
In this important position, you will:
*Be the first point of contact for members, visitors, and callers to the clergy office.
*Coordinate life-cycle events, such as weddings and bar/bat mitzvahs.
*Coordinate meetings, appointments, travel itineraries, including community/congregational trips and missions(using Outlook and other calendar management systems).
*Maintain lists of donors for the synagogue newsletter. (Mail Merge needed).
*Prepare meeting agendas.
*Coordinate synagogue personnel for holiday and Shabbat services.
*Manage his office.
In order to be a viable candidate, you should: be a college graduate; have at least 3 years’ high-level assistant experience; have strong communications skills (written and oral); have expertise in the full Microsoft Office Suite.
You must have nuanced familiarity with the Jewish community, traditions, and culture.
In addition, your attendance would be expected during some High Holiday Days and other holiday events, as well as some Shabbat services.

$65,000 - $80,000
