SUMMARY
TOP Jewish Foundation (“TOP”) serves as the community foundation for several Florida Jewish Federations/communities including Tampa, Orlando, Pinellas, Naples and Fort Myers. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, TOP functions as the planned giving department assisting individuals and organizational donors in our various communities. TOP is headquartered at the beautiful Tampa JCCs & Federation Cohn Campus in Tampa, Florida and is seeking a full-time Director of Philanthropy to join our dynamic and growing organization.
DIRECTOR OF PHILANTHROPY
Reporting to the Executive Director, the incoming Director of Philanthropy will be responsible to elevate Philanthropy in the communities that we serve. The Director of Philanthropy will be a seasoned professional who will grow TOP and strengthen the organization’s role as a trusted leader for our community organizations and donors. This position will consult with planned giving donors to help them imagine, design, and create a better world through use of their philanthropic resources. The Director of Philanthropy will work collaboratively with our member agencies managing their philanthropic efforts. This position collaborates with the TOP staff, lay leaders, fund holders, and partner agencies to develop and implement a planned giving strategy with a focus on planned gifts, legacy gifts and stewardship. This position will maintain and enhance relationships and interact with members of the planned giving and grantmaking communities locally and nationally.
