Part-Time Religious School Teachers

Temple Israel in New Rochelle is hiring part-time religious school teachers for Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. We are a dynamic program that looks to engage children through interactive programming. Offering positions starting at $4,760 and up.

We are looking for patient people who love children and feel a deep connection to Judaism. We have teaching opportunities for Tuesday from 3:30-6:00pm (K-6th grade) and/or Thursday from 3:30-6:00pm (3rd-6th grade). Basic Hebrew reading skills are needed for 1st through 6th grade.

Temple Israel’s programming year runs September 3rd through May 11st. Our curriculum is values based. Teaching staff will be able to develop their skills as an educator through regular professional development opportunities throughout the year.
