The Astoria Center of Israel is growing—and we’re looking for you!

We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and engaging Hebrew School teacher to join our warm, collaborative team for our Tuesday afternoon program.

Ideal candidates will have:
  • A working knowledge of Hebrew (reading, writing, and vocabulary). Fluency is a plus, but not required.
  • Familiarity with Jewish culture, customs, traditions, and history.
  • Experience teaching in a Hebrew school, Jewish camp, or youth group setting (preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a passion for making learning come alive through crafts, music, and movement. Ability to play an instrument is a plus!
