Part Time and High Holiday Cantor/Cantorial Soloist

Join our flock at Beth El- The Beaches Synagogue in Ponte Vedra Beach Florida! “Shalom y’all” is the Southern greeting: “Hey, you guys” is its Northern counterpart. This is what Beth El is all about, a blend of North and South and East and West. We come from Coast to Coast but boast equally about our home-grown locals. We are a Reform Jewish congregation seeking a part-time Cantor/Cantorial Soloist who will form a cohesive team with our Rabbi to provide an inspirational, musical, inclusive atmosphere for our members.

Our ideal candidate is someone who wants to be a part of a warm, welcoming community and make a difference in people’s lives by lifting them up through beautiful spiritual music. Someone who is collaborative and kind, giving and engaged, with a passion for Reform Jewish music and worship.

We are searching for our next musical leader to be with us through the High Holy Days and for weekly Shabbat services (Friday night and Saturday morning), B’nai Mitzvahs and Jewish festivals. Candidates should live within a reasonable commute of our synagogue in Ponte Vedra Beach or have an interest in relocating to the area. This is a part-time position (up to 20 hours per week) with a salary commensurate with qualifications and experience and includes paid time off with other benefits negotiable.
