ORGANIZATIONAL OVERVIEW

As the largest Jewish philanthropic organization in California, the Jewish Community Federation and Endowment Fund connects donors, changemakers, and community partners to build a thriving, resilient future. The Federation serves as a trusted partner and advisor for those seeking to make an impact today while shaping a better tomorrow. We invest in education, social services, and security while mobilizing crisis relief worldwide. With over a century of leadership, we empower individuals and families to give strategically, building a thriving and resilient future for generations to come. Whether strengthening Jewish life in the Bay Area, safeguarding Jewish communities worldwide, or ensuring a safe and democratic Israel, we empower people to take meaningful action that echoes for generations.

The Federation is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual with a variety of skill sets who wants to join a team working to build a new model of 21st century and next generation Federation engagement.

ROLE SUMMARY

The Research and Prospect Analyst plays a key role on the Integrated Philanthropy team. This position is responsible for work in two key areas: helping the Philanthropy Team open new donor-advised funds through sourcing, research, strategy and analysis; and supporting donor stewardship and retention by identifying and tracking donor lifecycle events.

As the Federation continues to grow, the responsibilities of this role will evolve accordingly. The ideal candidate is a proactive, strategic thinker with a flexible mindset, someone who excels at turning ideas into actionable strategies and measurable results. Comfort working alongside senior philanthropy professionals and executives is essential. This role reports to Sr. Director of Philanthropy.

We encourage candidates of all backgrounds and identities, including those who do not identify as Jewish, to apply.

This role is a full-time, hybrid position with two days per week (Wednesdays and Thursdays) in our San Francisco office.
