JF&CS is now seeking a full-time Be Well Manager.

PURPOSE: The Be Well Manager (BWM) is a health and well-being professional who connects - community stakeholders, collaborators, and partners, working together, to promote and elevate the mental health and well-being of children, teens and families in the Jewish Community. The BWM will build community relationships that address the mental health needs and wellbeing of individuals, families and overall community health. The BWM will educate the community about the comprehensive menu of services that support referrals between community partners, to increase access to mental health services. In addition, the BWM will work collaboratively with JF&CS leadership to develop ideas for strong collaborations and partnerships across the community. This role will function as a convener. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Atlanta Resiliency Roundtable affiliated with the national network of professionals to learn and share best practices and develop supportive cohorts. Develop peer-driven and evidence-based educational trainings and workshops Address stigma and other barriers to  accessing behavioral health services
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop an awareness campaign and educational/informational products.
  • Work in partnership with JF&CS external  relations staff and agency navigator
  • Collaborate with all partners to develop staff retention strategies
  • Execute an annual SWOT analysis and Needs Assessment. 
  • Operate within agency policies and procedures and ensure that all case files, and other records, strictly comply with policies, regulations, and HIPAA procedures.
  • Establish trusting relationships with clients, providers and partners.
  • Be the BeWell Ambassador in the community at large, identify and create opportunities for connections. 
  • Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive, networked approach to address mental health and wellbeing in the Atlanta Jewish community
  • Create community-wide plans to address mental health and wellbeing needs including: 
    • Identify, recruit, and build deep relationships with stakeholder organizations/members 
    • Facilitate the development of an asset map of community organizations and programs that offer mental health and related services
    • Convene organizations  quarterly for shared learning
    • Partner to create a digital resource guide of existing services
    • Oversee the creation of a website for the downloadable resource guide 
    • Ensure the creation of collective impact outcomes to measure community organizational progress on outcomes using shared measures 
    • Facilitate the creation of a clear, efficient, and easily accessible process for education/engagement agencies/programs to access mental health resources 
    • Supervise the Mental Health Concierge 
    • Support and staff the Resiliency Roundtable meetings and activities to strengthen the capacity for Jewish education and engagement organizations to address mental health needs of those they serve
    • Articulate purpose, priorities, annual workplan, and outcomes of the Atlanta Resiliency Roundtable
    • Oversee a centralized approach to offering a variety of trainings for professionals and lay leaders that teach how to identify and support those who are struggling 
    • Facilitate an effort to deploy peer-to-peer trainings in a variety of formal and informal education settings to help young people promote healthy environments and relationships   
  • Supervise the Mental Health Concierge 
  • Support and staff the Resiliency Roundtable meetings and activities to strengthen the capacity for Jewish education and engagement organizations to address mental health needs of those they serve
  • Articulate purpose, priorities, annual workplan, and outcomes of the Atlanta Resiliency Roundtable
  • Oversee a centralized approach to offering a variety of trainings for professionals and lay leaders that teach how to identify and support those who are struggling 
  • Facilitate an effort to deploy peer-to-peer trainings in a variety of formal and informal education settings to help young people promote healthy environments and relationships 
  • Build broad network of relationships/bridges outside of the Atlanta Jewish community, becoming an active member of the Resilient Georgia statewide coalition and other Atlanta area and statewide organizations and coalitions
  • Continue Align-Act-Adjust cycle (continuous quality improvement) by leveraging learnings as initiative evolves

Requirements

  • Knowledge of and experience developing and implementing community wellness and behavioral health prevention and intervention strategies and programs
  • Excellent Presentation Skills and public speaker
  • Healthcare experience, preferably behavioral health work experience 
  • Excellent customer service with a client focus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • High integrity when dealing with a broad array of cultures, lifestyles, behaviors and spiritual practices
  • High integrity when dealing with restricted and/or confidential information
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries while building trust and respect 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s degree in healthcare, public health preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of related work experience 
  • Project Management, certified
  • Work experience in healthcare, behavioral health, and/or family and child/teen related setting
