LOOKING FOR CREATIVE AND ENGAGING TEACHERS FOR BT LAB! 

BT LAB, the religious school program at Congregation B'nai Torah, encourages students to explore Jewish life and Hebrew language through hands-on activities, meaningful discussions, and personal reflection. 

The goal of the program is for the students to make friends, be part of the BT LAB and larger Jewish communities, and understand how to see life through a Jewish lens.

Our Ideal Teacher: 

  • Experience and enthusiasm working with children aged K-6th students 
  • Has general knowledge of Jewish customs and holidays, prayers, and Hebrew. 
  • Commitment to engaging students & supporting different types of learners 
  • Willingness to use our established curriculum.  
  • Participate in teacher staff meetings as needed throughout the year. 
  • Teach Sunday mornings in-person, beginning August 2022 & ending May 2023. (During this time, we will have Sundays off for public school breaks, Jewish holidays, government holiday weekends, etc.)
