The Ramaz Upper School seeks to hire a full-time STUDENT ACTIVITIES COORDINATOR to begin September 2024/2025 school year. 

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Under the direction of Administration, plan, direct and review the activities and operations of student activities, student government and student organizations. 
  • Develop school-wide programs supporting the cultural, educational, social and emotional needs of students, which encourage student and community participation.
  • Work in coordination with the administration to develop the school’s activity calendar.
  • Plan, execute and oversee a wide range of programs, assemblies, trips, Shabbatonim, tzedakah, and chesed projects. This would include community oriented educational programs for specific calendar days and memorial events.
  • Arrange for equipment, facilities, and agendas for such activities.
  • Special focus on framing and executing a robust chessed program and facilitating opportunities for community service engagement.

 

Skills and Competencies:

  • Candidate should be creative, resourceful, and flexible; exhibit good people, language, computer, and organizational skills. 
  • Exhibit enthusiasm and well-developed interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents and the community.
  • Flexibility and ability to cope with change. 
  • Computer graphics and movie-making skills a plus.

 

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field. 
  • A Jewish studies background is required.
  • Experience working with high school students in an independent school
Salary65,000.00 - 90,000.00 Annual
