Judaic Studies Teacher and Judaic curriculum coordinator for Grades K-3

We are seeking a passionate Judaic Studies Teacher/ Judaics Coordinator for Grades K–3 who brings energy, creativity, and a strong Torah foundation to early childhood and lower elementary education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Judaic subjects including Chumash, Tefillah, Parsha, and Jewish holidays through interactive and text-based instruction

• Foster a warm and inclusive classroom environment grounded in Jewish values

• Lead daily morning tefillah with warmth and intention

• Develop student skills in Hebrew reading, comprehension, and Chumash text study

• Collaborate and assist colleagues on integrated units, holiday programs, and school events

• Track and assess student progress and tailor instruction accordingly

• Communicate regularly with parents and participate in family engagement initiatives

• Attend professional development, staff meetings, and contribute to school-wide Judaic programming

• Support hebrew literacy skills for students in K-3

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Judaic Studies, Jewish Education, or related field (required)

• Seminary training or Rabbinic ordination (preferred)

• At least 2 years of experience teaching Judaic Studies at the early childhood or elementary level

• Warm, nurturing demeanor with strong classroom management skills

• Ability to teach Hebrew language and integrate Torah values across subjects

• Familiarity with differentiation, student-centered learning, and formative assessment
