Director of Development, #1000

Our client, Just One Life www.justonelife.org is an American 501(c)(3) organization for the Israeli affiliate Nefesh Achat B’Yisrael. They are a social services organization which employs professional social and therapy workers dealing with women's emotional and financial issues during and after pregnancy. Now with the war, emotional and financial issues have only increased their work load.

Its mission is to support and empower women and families in Israel during pregnancy to carry to term and have the children they desire. Over 20,200 babies have been born in 35 years. Just One Life is now seeking a full-time Director of Development. There will be flexibility in terms of working from home and in person at the office in Manhattan or New Jersey. South Florida location will also be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Work with organization's Chairman and Executive Director in developing fundraising strategies and events.
• Outreach to past and prospective donors (by phone, zoom, in person).
• Coordinate awareness of the organization and its mission through social media platforms.

Experience and Other Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience and a passion for fundraising for the organization.
• Developed personal fundraising contacts.
• Familiarity and comfort with various social media platforms.
• Ability to work independently and take initiatives.
