Data Base Raiser’s Edge / Office Manager (Full time / part-time)

American Friends of Rabin Medical Center (AFRMC—see www.afrmc.org), a New York City based non-profit, seeks a Raiser’s Edge Specialist for database management to help with all aspects of fundraising and development work. This can be a full time or part time, in-person position.

Need expert level proficiency with Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge (both the database back end & NXT views). Looking for someone tech savvy, with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Adobe Acrobat and Zoom.

Candidate should be a detail-oriented self-starter with good interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, writing and communication skills, and able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously. Looking for someone data-driven, who can take ownership of queries, imports, email blasts, etc.

Duties

  • Raiser’s Edge database management – enter information, clean-up data – database backend and NXT views
  • Run report to track revenue and projections
  • Process gifts, batch entry, coding
  • Import gifts from third-party donation processing
  • Create queries and exports
  • Send out email blasts
  • Pay vendor bills
  • Office management and organizational tasks
  • Compose fundraising emails and acknowledgement letters
  • Maintain and improve the overall integrity of the database – update records, merge duplicates, enter new information provided by donors, prospects, or staff

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of Raiser’s Edge and NXT database experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Ability to work fully in-person in Soho office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


If full time, would be great if this role can also manage general office management duties, but this is optional.

  • Managing office calendar in Outlook / sending invites for meetings and calls both via Zoom and in person
  • Paper filing for event archive binders, donor records, vendor folders
  • Ordering (via Staples, Amazon, etc) and maintenance of supplies inventory
  • Digitizing paper records as needed
  • Act a point person with Executive Director between office and IT team
  • In-office mailings (candidate should be able to perform mail merges for letters and labels)
