About You

FIDF is searching for a smart, fearless, and social media-loving Social Media Engagement Manager and Content Creator to join our Social Media Department within FIDF’s Marketing Team.

  • You are deeply passionate about Israel, the culture, and dedicated to FIDF’s mission
  • You are a burgeoning social guru and a creative-strategy Swiss army knife
  • You are multidisciplinary, with experience in content development, platform insights, and engagement tactics
  • You are well-versed in digital spaces, community fostering, and opportunity-mining online
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment, fulfilling last-minute requests and quick turnarounds, while prioritizing ongoing assignments

 

Essential Job Duties

  • Monitor user behavior and social conversation, identifying real-time engagement opportunities
  • Cultivate relationships with our partners and influencers
  • Respond to our community
  • Find opportunities to leverage influencers and UGC
  • Concept and create branded social media content that is insightful, culturally relevant, and inherently sharable within deadlines and cost constraints. Content includes graphics, reels, captions, etc.
  • Employ exceptional attention to detail and thorough command of editorial and proofreading
  • Communicate in FIDF’s voice and vision with consistency across regions and segments
  • Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering traffic metrics
  • Maintain robust social media content calendar
  • Provide analytic report and optimize strategy
  • Stay informed and share new social media trends and tools

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, advertising, and/or social media
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Sociology, or Multimedia
  • A portfolio that includes social media campaigns
  • A strong understanding of social media marketing, including best practices on various platforms; and the ability to quickly adapt to new technology
  • Exceptional communication (storytelling) skills are required
  • Exceptional grammar, editing, fact-checking, and proofreading capabilities
  • Strong visual aesthetic and working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
  • Self-starter with the confidence and ability to tackle new initiatives with little guidance
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
