Religious School Teacher

The Reform Temple of Rockland is seeking teachers to join our Religious School for the 2025-2026 school year. We are a welcoming congregation in Nyack, NY looking for caring and creative teachers to be part of our innovative education team.

We are specifically looking for someone enthusiastic and experienced to teach our 6th and 7th graders in-person on Sundays from 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM as well as to provide individual online Hebrew tutoring to a range of 3rd through 7th grade students during the week. The Hebrew tutoring will total approximately two hours per week and can be scheduled at yours and the students convenience.

Applicants should enjoy engaging and inspiring children, have experience working in a Jewish setting, and general knowledge of Jewish customs, holidays, prayers, and Hebrew.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
