Middle School Math & Elementary Teacher

Our school seeks a certified educator with a strong background in math to teach middle school math and enrichment for the elementary grades. This full-time role requires a focus on math instruction and a passion for student success.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

• Middle School Math Instruction:
• Plan and deliver engaging and effective math lessons (Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry) for middle school students, ensuring alignment with state standards and curriculum guidelines.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and abilities.
• Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and mathematical reasoning skills.
• Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
• Elementary Instruction:
• Develop challenging enrichment opportunities for small groups of elementary students
• Utilize hands-on activities and interactive teaching methods to engage young learners.
• Create a nurturing, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
• Monitor and report on student growth and development.

Qualifications:

• Math teaching certification (middle school or k-12) required.
• Valid teaching certification
• Experience in math instruction and classroom management.
• Passion for teaching and student growth.

Preferred:

• Previous experience teaching middle school math and elementary grades preferred.
