The Campus Support Associate will partner with the Associate Vice President for Organizational Learning and the Campus Support Director serving small Hillels to help capture and spread best practices across the Hillel movement. The Associate will play a particular role helping to codify and share those practices unique to smaller Hillels and also work on collecting and sharing best practices for Hillels of all sizes. The Associate will  have their hands in everything from the technology and administrative functions to the engagement, education, and immersive experience portfolio. Building relationships and forming bonds with campus professionals is crucial to this work.

What You’ll Bring to the Job

  • A bachelor's degree and 2+ years of Hillel or related work experience.

  • Analytical skills and the ability to synthesize information and to share it effectively with others.

  • A strong proficiency in Excel, Google Suite, Word, PowerPoint and a general tech savvy

  • Experience with (or an interest in learning) database management, particularly Salesforce.

  • Administrative experience, strong project management skills and the ability to move forward multiple projects simultaneously.

  • An organized and detail-oriented approach to work.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven record of building productive working relationships.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

  • A sense of humor and a willingness to learn.

What You’ll Own

  • You’ll curate and organize relevant best practice resources and materials to be shared on Hillel communication channels and help us experiment with new channels for spreading best practices and insights so that they are widely seen and used by Hillel professionals.

  • You’ll hold a portfolio related to best practices, support and connectivity for Hillels with solo professionals. You’ll support unstaffed Hillels (student clubs) to ensure these students, advisors and professionals understand the optimal models and resources provided by the Hillel movement.

  • You’ll provide logistical support to organize meetings and in-person gatherings.

  • Develop a communication vehicle to help faculty advisors on campuses without a professionally staffed Hillel, understand the opportunities available for their students.

  • Support communities of practice by managing timelines, providing logistical support, sending follow up resources and thinking about the users’ experience.

  • Prepare written materials, Powerpoint presentations, meeting summaries, and other critical docs for meetings including those with campus administrators, donors and lay leaders, and local Hillel Directors.
