Dara Horn’s Non-Profit Combating Contemporary Antisemitism Through Education is Hiring
a Director of Programs and Partnerships
About The Tell Institute
The Tell Institute (The Tell), www.thetellinstitute.org, a national nonprofit founded by author and scholar Dara Horn, is expanding its dynamic team by hiring a Director of Programs and Partnerships. We are seeking a highly motivated self-starter, committed to working with a passionate, mission-driven organization during a period of significant growth.
The Tell Institute’s mission is to dramatically reframe what students and the broader American public know about Jewish civilization, the dynamics of antisemitism for 2500 years, and the ideas that shape free pluralistic societies. We envision a transformative educational movement that explores the layers of Am Yisrael—an over 3,000-year-old civilization with world-changing ideas and enduring resilience—and equips learners to recognize the 2,500-year pattern of antisemitism that not only affects the Jewish people but also corrodes the broader societies that embrace antisemitism.
We are piloting our curriculum—a limited set of eight lessons grounded in Dara’s ideas—in various educational settings. Given the flood of interest we have already drawn from hundreds of educators and leaders in community, business, religious, and cultural sectors nationwide, we, too, will partner with those committed to spreading our approach within and beyond schools. This is an opportunity to shape education and the broader conversation at a pivotal time. Together, we are working to foster a generation that is curious about living Jews and less susceptible to antisemitism.
