Teen & Administrative Manager
Youth and Family Education Department
Position Summary:
This full time position supports the operations and administrative functions of Temple Shaaray Tefila Youth Group (TaSTY), the Religious School (Grades PreK-12), and Department of Youth and Family Education. This position is ideal for a motivated, organized, detail-oriented individual who wants to work collaboratively in an excellent learning department.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage youth department programs, in conjunction with RS and Pathways team
- Trips
- Local - trips to LES or Borscht Belt, etc
- Travel - Continental or beyond - DC, NOLA, Europe, etc.
- Weekly
- TaSTY - youth group programming
- Weekly program in partnership with teen board
- Teen board management
- Special events (Matzah ball, Pathways banquet, etc)
- Relationship management with teens
- Direct to teen Communications
- Parent communications
- TA program support and administration
- Reports to and supports the Director Youth and Family Education and supports the department’s scheduling and logistics.
- Serves as the face of the school to welcome and assist parents, teachers, students, and guests.
- Coordinates all logistics for the Religious School including:
- Ordering supplies and food
- Calendar Management
- Room bookings
- Payment tracking
- Attendance
- Registration lists
- All other event-related logistics as necessary
- Manages the school database
- Leads school registration process
- Manages teen travel registration
- Runs event registration in ShulCloud
- Manages invoices, receipts, credit card reconciliation, and payments for the Family and Youth Education department.
- Performs other administrative responsibilities as assigned
- Regular hours when school is in session, with other hours as needed, including the school year schedule:
- Sundays 8:30am-12:30pm
- Mondays, 11:30am-8:30pm
- Tuesdays-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm
- Remote / off days are consistent and determined in advance with approval by Director of Youth and Family Education
- When school is not in session, hours are generally Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm

- Demonstrated multitasking and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, concurrent events and deadlines
- Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail
- Demonstrated project management and collaboration skills
- Demonstrates strong work ethic and a kind disposition
- Extremely organized and detail oriented; skilled at coordinating logistics
- Proficient computer skills in Google Workspace with the ability to quickly learn new computer applications as required
- Proficient in Zoom meeting management
- Ability to act as a positive representative of Temple Shaaray Tefila
- Flexibility to work holidays, High Holidays, weekends, and evenings
- TST Religious School, Pathways, and TA meets Sunday mornings and Mondays into the evening
