The Aventura Turnberry Jewish Center is seeking an experienced administrative assistant. As part of our synagogue team, you will handle a wide range of office responsibilities, including providing administrative and strategic support to Clergy, managing the synagogue calendar, scheduling appointments, answering phones, greeting visitors and more. The ideal candidate • Is highly organized with a superb attention to detail• Can prioritize according to supervisors’ expectations and meet deadlines• Have excellent interpersonal, team-building, and communication skills• Work independently• Can work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, remaining flexible and efficient• Anticipates needs and solves problems proactively• Be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook)• Experience with Constant Contact, and Social Media, is a plus• Experience with ShulCloud, is a plus • Must have a positive attitude, and pleasant demeanor• Be responsible and dependable• Knowledge of Jewish calendar, customs, and synagogue life is not required but is helpful
