The Manager of National Partnerships will serve as a vital member of the partnerships team to support and advance how Repair and its partners work to harness the power of service as a defining force for the North American Jewish community.
This position works closely with the Director and Senior Director of National Partnerships to coordinate the establishment and growth of the Jewish Service Alliance (JSA). Powered by Repair the World, the JSA is a coalition of organizations created to expand and enhance service opportunities for tens of thousands of Jewish young adults and college students and address the COVID-19 crisis, its economic fallout, and the current movement for racial justice. Additionally, the Manager of National Partnerships will work with several organizations associated with the Jewish Community Response and Impact Fund (JCRIF) Reset Grants, including Hillel international, JCC Association, JDC Entwine, and the Jewish Federations of North America. This full-time position reports to the Senior Director of National Partnerships.
- Work with the National Partnerships Team to build out the Jewish service movement and inspire dozens of organizations to enhance and expand service opportunities that mobilize Jews and their communities in action and learning to pursue a just world.
- Create and maintain a catalog/system to formalize and maintain records of existing partnership relationships including identification of past collaborations, partnership goals, budgets, successes and challenges, and key points of contact, etc.
- Collaborate with Jewish Education team to organize and systematize assets and resources needed for training programs.
- Coordinate with the marketing and communications team for the production of new educational materials.
- Write a methodology of engagement for partner communications, answering the question of how do we embed our values, learning, and teaching opportunities into our connections and messaging.
- Support the National Partnerships team in hosting and facilitating training and experiential service models for our national partners.
- Provide logistical support in convening national partners, virtually and in-person.
- Coordinate with staff in Repair communities to ensure our work with national partners uplifts our work on the ground.
- Manage partner relationships including exceptional communication and collaboration while moving programs forward.

- Ability to effectively gather and synthesize records from documentation and word of mouth
- Ability to design and apply experiential/values-centered learning into daily correspondences and habits
- Ability to meet partner needs and find both creative and/or data-informed solutions based on current strategies
- 3+ years designing, testing, and implementing values-centered experiences for a variety of partner needs
- Experience as a participant and facilitator of Jewish service learning
- Sophisticated analysis of social justice and its relationship to volunteering
- Demonstrated experience in effective facilitation methodologies for both in-person and virtual gatherings of varying scales
- Thrives in both internally and externally-facing work environments
- Operates with a proactive attitude and a growth mindset
- Comprehensive understanding of the Jewish communal landscape including relevant knowledge of organizational constituencies, historic impacts and driving decision making factors
- Strong written and spoken communication skills
- Experience with work in an immersive, agile, and highly collaborative environment, such as a camp counselor, alternative spring break staff, Birthright trip leader, etc., is a plus
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.) finds joy in creating a well-formatted document
- Passion for Repair the World’s mission and organizational values that guide our work with the frame of repairing the world (Tikkun Olam) leading to the pursuit of justice (Tzedek).

Compensation at Repair the World is determined based on the salary band for the role and adjusted based on cost of living where the final candidate resides. For candidates with 3+ years of relevant experience, compensation for this role starts at between $50,000 – $60,000 depending on your community of residence. Benefits package includes paid time off for service in addition to vacation and holidays, employer pays 100% for employee medical/dental/vision coverage and 50% for dependents, retirement matching, and professional development funds. In addition, employees that have been with Repair for at least a year are eligible for 12 weeks of paid parental leave.
