Bar/Bat Mitzvah Tutor (In Person)

Beth Torah Benny Rok Campus is a Synagogue in South Florida affiliated with USCJ, serving 900 families. We take pride in providing a comprehensive B'nai Mitzvah experience as part of our educational and spiritual initiative. Collaborating with our Clergy and Education team, we celebrate 35-45 Bar/Bat Mitzvahs annually, and as our community expands, we are seeking a dedicated B'nai Mitzvah educator to join our team of four teachers.

About You: You are a passionate educator who recognizes the importance of evolving Judaism, with an empathetic approach to working with Bar/Bat Mitzvah students from diverse cultural backgrounds. You have experience in teaching or are currently preparing students for B'nai Mitzvah ceremonies.

What You Need:

• Previous or current experience in training Bar/Bat Mitzvah students.
• Knowledge in Torah trop and T'filah.
• The ability to work one-on-one with students.
• Flexibility to change and adapt your approach based on the individual needs of students.
• A positive, high-energy philosophy.
• The ability to think creatively and engage a broad range of student needs.
• Must be able to be on campus and proivde lessons in person. 

This position offers flexibility, allowing you to create your own schedule. You will receive support from the clergy and education team, collaborating with the Cantor and other tutors to ensure each family receives an experience that adds value to their lives.
