The Role of the Fellow
Temple Beth Shalom Children’s Center fellows play a key role, setting the tone by valuing each child and family as individuals. By modeling responsibility, welcoming, and caring, fellows foster children’s Jewish identity. TBSCC fellows have the dispositions and dedication to learning necessary to promote children and their families as they learn and develop. Working under the direct supervision of our lead teachers, fellows have a desire to learn and grow in their own teaching practice. Teachers and fellows work together to develop the classroom pedagogy to provide a quality educational program reflecting the goals and values of the school.
