Sunday School Teacher

About Us

Tikvat Israel Congregation is a warm and welcoming Conservative Synagogue in Rockville, MD. We're looking for two great teachers for our Sunday morning classes!

What We Need

We're seeking energetic and knowledgeable teachers for:

• 1st Grade
• 2nd/3rd Grade

Classes run from 9:30 to 11:30 am, September to June. We provide a weekly curriculum to make your job easier!

Qualifications

To join our team, you should have:

• Experience in early childhood classrooms or as a camp counselor
• A BA degree (preferred), especially in education or Jewish studies
• Knowledge of Jewish holidays, values, Torah stories, and basic Hebrew
