Taking Back the Narrative, a Zionism education initiative, is looking to hire a motivated Social Media Intern who is eager to be part of a growing company that is combating antisemitism. Anti-Zionism is at the root of today's antisemitism. We are a fast-paced, recently launched initiative; programming will begin February 2022 (podcast, webinars, round-tables). Our social media goal is to create engaging content across multiple platforms, and to thoughtfully navigate the video space.

Duties And Responsibilities:
  • Social media creation & management – Coordinate with the CEO & Executive Director to curate, create and deliver social media content to key audiences across various channels, including YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
  • Owned content generation – Support an integrated digital approach and create compelling content to drive engagement and traffic on social media channels and to the coming podcast - includes creating a social media planned content calendar.
  • Communications analytics and insights – Create and present social media analytics & insights data, using technology and analytics to drive recommendations that improve social media presence.
  • Experience in social media communications and marketing, with knowledge and understanding of the changing social media landscape preferred.
  • Knowledge of content planning, publishing, online monitoring and reporting preferred.
  • Excellent writing, communications and presentation skills, with the ability to create content for a variety of channels required.
  • Ability to manage projects, with supervision.
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to self-start, think critically and solve problems creatively.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools, including native platforms (such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram). Knowledge of creating reels required.
  • Experience using Canva preferred, or willing to learn.
Internship is from January 2022 - May 2022.
$2,500 stipend to be paid at the conclusion of the internship.
