FUNDRAISING ASSOCIATE

The 37th Israel Film Festival in Los Angeles is seeking a motivated, open-minded, curious and results-driven Fundraising Associate to join our team in Beverly Hills. This is a part-time position (with potential to become full-time), available immediately.

Presented by the IsraFest Foundation, Inc., a U.S. 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, the Israel Film Festival is the largest showcase of Israeli cinema in the United States.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Executive Director and the festival team to align fundraising goals.
  • Research, identify, and cultivate new sponsors, foundations, organizations, donors, and community partners.
  • Arrange and coordinate calls, meetings, and follow-ups for the Executive Director.
  • Assist in drafting sponsorship proposals, grant applications, and donor correspondence.
  • Maintain and update sponsor databases, track contributions, and prepare reports.
  • Support the creation of promotional materials such as sponsor reports, invitations, and ad book content.
  • Manage sponsor communications and assist in fulfilling sponsorship benefits and deliverables.
  • Coordinate fundraising events, including the Gala Opening, Sponsor Receptions, and Special Screenings.
  • Help the team in Israel with print traffic, social media, websit,e and overall production of the festival

 

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in fundraising, development, or sponsorships (nonprofit or arts preferred).
  • Proven ability to build and maintain donor relationships and meet fundraising goals.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Event coordination experience – preferably within festivals, arts organizations, or cultural events.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, CRM platforms, and digital collaboration tools.
  • Fluency in English (Hebrew a plus).
  • Knowledge of the Jewish and Hollywood communities is an advantage.
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented, and passionate about film and Israeli culture.

Compensation

Salary commensurate with experience.
