The Kindergarten through twelfth grade school psychologist will be a uniquely qualified and educationally certified individual that will assist the students in their learning and the teachers with their teaching. This person will apply expertise in mental health, learning, and behavior, to help children and youth succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally. The school psychologist will partner with families, teachers, school administrators, and other professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments that strengthen connections between home, school, and the community.

The successful candidate will:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in education or psychology or another closely related field;
- Have a Master’s, specialist, or doctoral degree in school psychology or educational psychology development or related field;
- Have experience with RULER
- Be credentialed or currently licensed at the state and/or national level to practice school psychology in a school setting. Individuals who are currently licensed as independent psychologists (with closely related experience) will be considered.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands
Physical demands include dexterity for office machine/supply operation, including but not limited to computers, telephones, copy machines, facsimiles, and printers. Stooping, bending, reaching for files or supplies, and sitting or standing for extended periods is common.
