Description

Miami school looking to add a full-time HR Coordinator to our business office. This in-person position reports directly to the CFO/ COO, and will be filled immediately. This role is best suited for a growth-oriented HR Coordinator who can manage a variety of tasks including, but not limited to these primary areas of responsibility: 

  • Posting job vacancies, screening applicants, scheduling interviews 
  • Managing the onboarding process for new hires 
  • Managing the termination process including exit interviews
  • Maintaining accurate employee records, personnel files, offer letters
  • Maintaining our HRIS system 
  • Administering our employee benefits programs, and enrollments
  • Processing payroll, including data entry, timesheet review, PTO processing 
  • Helping to coordinate and organize employee training sessions, and wellness initiatives
  • Serving as a first point of contact for employee questions and requests regarding HR policies, procedures, and general inquiries
  • Staying updated on governmental laws and regulations affecting the School and assisting with audits and program evaluations. 
  • Managing HR calendars, scheduling meetings and events
  • Preparing HR reports for CFO/ COO. 
  • Support the CFO/ COO with other tasks and functions as needed 

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of similar experience. In addition, the candidate will:

  • Have an excitement to learn and seek professional growth
  • Be capable of simultaneously managing multiple tasks while maintaining organization and prioritizing deadlines
  • Possess a working understanding of HR principles, practices and procedures
  • Possess a proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets; 
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Be capable of building positive relationships, while discreetly handling confidential information
  • Be capable of working collaboratively and communicating well with all stakeholders
  • Work well in teams
  • Have strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and a possess a customer service mindset

 Salary commensurate with experience
