Sunday Religious School Teachers (no Hebrew needed)

We are looking for teachers for the fall! If any of the following describes you- we welcome your application for our growing program!

• You love seeing kids find meaning with their Jewish peers
• You are compassionate towards kids with different learning needs and are creative in how you see the possibilities within a religious school setting

• You have a passion for either Jewish culture, Diverse Jewish Communities, Jewish history, Hebrew, Israel, Jewish holidays and/or Jewish texts
• You are looking for a way to strengthen your community during these challenging times

Specific positions open:

Bellevue Campus Sunday Morning: 1st grade, 4th grade

Seattle Campus Sunday Morning: Elementary school openings (various grades)

We pay $26-$34/hr depending on experience and pay extra for the time you spend preparing for class. We value the extra time and effort you put into making your classes interactive and dynamic. Sunday teachers work between 5-7hrs a week.  *This comes out to $130-$180 per session. 

Our program runs 9:30-12noon on Sunday mornings and teachers are expected to be on site from 8:45-12:15pm. All Sunday classes will take place either on our Bellevue or Seattle campus. 

*Teaching credentials not necessary. Ability to communicate with kids is our top priority!

Unique talents or interests are welcome! Singers and guitar players, those with artistic or culinary talents, teachers who love the outdoors and/or have camp counselor experience, those with technical/social media skills, and teachers who can involve students and parents in social action projects are a plus!

*We have a unique opportunity to offer our teachers opportunities to further their Jewish education online, in person, and at conferences.
