The Assistant Endowment Director of the Jewish Foundation of Greensboro, facilitates the endowment and planned giving program for the Jewish community of Greensboro, Jewish Federations, agencies, and institutions. This position will report to and work closely with the Endowment Director and with the other members of the team and board to engage donors in supporting our growth. Other duties may need to be assigned to meet organizational needs.
The Assistant Endowment Director of the Jewish Foundation of Greensboro must be people-oriented, able to work with confidential topics, and capable of articulating the mission of the endowment program to the community. The Assistant Endowment Director is required to present a strong and recognizable commitment to the enrichment of the Jewish community, with knowledge of Jewish culture, customs, calendar, and concerns.
Essential Duties:
Qualifications:
A graduate degree (JD/MBA) from an accredited institution or an equivalent educational background or previous experience in finance, business, planned giving or development is preferred. Experience in community organization, grant-making, fundraising, and Jewish community involvement is required.
Position Reports to:
The Endowment Director of the Jewish Foundation of Greensboro. Other aspects of the position are those general to Federation employees as covered in the Greensboro Jewish Federation Employee Handbook.
