Tikvah is a leading Jewish think tank and educational institution committed to supporting the rising generation of intellectual, religious, and political leaders of the Jewish people and the Jewish state. Tikvah runs a wide range of initiatives in America and Israel including educational programs, publications, and fellowships.

About the Role:

 We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Program and Communications Associate to support our growing digital content division. This is an entry-level role for someone who is passionate about Jewish ideas and culture, has strong organizational and writing skills, and is eager to help produce and market written, video, and audio content.

 This is a full-time position, primarily based in Tikvah’s New York City office, with the option to work from home 1-2 days a week. The Program Associate will report to the Senior Director of Tikvah Ideas.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the publication and upkeep of content across our websites, including essays, video courses, and podcasts
  • Draft a wide range of written materials, including content descriptions, promotional emails, surveys, forms, social media posts, and general marketing copy
  • Build regular newsletters and curate relevant content for our audience
  • Conduct basic analytics tracking and user experience testing
  • Provide occasional support for editorial and production workflows, including proofreading, fact-checking, uploading, and formatting content
  • Foster deeper engagement with our community of readers, listeners, and viewers
  • Track and report on content offerings and marketing strategies among competitors
  • Provide general administrative and operational support for the content division as needed

Qualifications:

  • Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of Jewish ideas, culture, and American/Israeli public affairs
  • Willingness and ability to learn relevant software (e.g., CMS, email marketing tools, webpage design)
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and identify problems
  • Alignment with Tikvah’s mission

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

  • Familiarity with web content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and/or digital analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
  • Experience with Photoshop, Canva, or other visual graphics tools
  • Familiarity with basic video/audio editing software
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS
Salary60,000.00 - 65,000.00 Annual
