  • Event Planning: Organize all-school programs, including events and holiday celebrations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the key point of contact for parents, teens, funders, and community leaders.
  • Logistics Coordination: Manage room reservations, custodial services, security, and supplies to ensure smooth operations.
  • Financial Management: Handle financial records, manage the program budget, and lead grant applications and funding requests.
  • Community Representation: Represent the program in inter-organizational activities within the Jewish community.
  • Hebrew for Credit: Coordinate course offerings and liaise with school districts to meet credit requirements.
  • Digital Communication and Presence: Maintain the Hebrew High website and social media, and create regular correspondence for families and staff.
  • Office Management: Ensure the Hebrew High office is well-organized and responsive to inquiries.
  • Reporting: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to program goals.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Jewish education, program administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience working with teens in an educational or communal setting.

Skills/Qualities:

  • Highly-organized, responsive, and energetic.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with both adults and teens.
  • Knowledge of Jewish beliefs, customs, and traditions.
  • Creative program planning skills.
  • Ability to manage a program budget.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365, social media platforms, and basic website management.
  • Ability to learn new systems and handle basic audio-visual equipment.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and empathy.
  • Comfortable working under pressure and balancing multiple priorities.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to lift or move items up to 25 lbs.
