Temple Ner Tamid in Peabody MA is looking to hire a full time Rabbi (Kol Bo) as our primary spiritual leader for its thriving Conservative Jewish congregation.  The ideal candidate would have established pulpit experience, good interpersonal skills, be pastoral and have a desire to build a long-term presence as a teacher and role model. 

Responsibilites include:

• Must be an ordained Rabbi to act as the Marata D'Atra
• Provide pastoral and spiritual care for all members
• Lead meaningful Shabbat and Yom Tov services
• Teach adult education classes
• Guide and support lay-led daily and shiva minyanim
• Be involved in the local community
• Perform life cycle ceremonies
• Support the religious school
• Attend board meetings and appropriate other committee meetings
• Lain Torah and chant Haftorah
• Provide B'nai Mitzvah training
• Reside in the area

Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience
