Contract Term: 5-Year Engagement (2025–2030)
Compensation: $35-38 per hour

About the Role
This long-term opportunity involves providing consistent spiritual, pastoral, and cultural care within an institutional healthcare environment. The Rabbi will serve a diverse adult population requiring ongoing Jewish spiritual support, including both inpatient and out-patient individuals.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct Jewish religious services, pastoral counseling, and spiritual education.
Provide tailored support to approximately 100 Jewish clients, primarily aged 40+.
Lead weekly Sabbath services, holiday observances, and other ritual activities.
Offer Torah study, one-on-one counseling, and ethical instruction.
Collaborate with facility staff to support kosher observance and religious accommodations.
Maintain required documentation of all visits, services, and interactions.
Uphold confidentiality and professional standards at all times.
Required Qualifications
Ordained Rabbi (Smicha) from a recognized rabbinical institution.
Minimum 3 years of experience (preferably in clinical, institutional, or chaplaincy settings).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Availability during weekday hours (8:30 AM – 4:30 PM).
Authorized to work in the United States and pass all required background checks.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of active rabbinic service in healthcare, correctional, or senior care settings.
Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) or chaplaincy training.
Board Certification (BCC) preferred.
Multilingual ability (Hebrew, Yiddish, or others) is a plus.
