B'nai Or Administrator

B’nai Or of Boston is looking for an Administrator for a part-time position, averaging 10 hours/week. Annual salary range of $12,000-15,000, depending upon experience.

B’nai Or is a well-established, welcoming, egalitarian Jewish Renewal Community. We engage in joyful, musical prayer services including meditation and movement, spiritual exploration, liturgy, and learning.  We are fun-loving and deeply connected with each other, socializing, celebrating, and giving mutual support in times of need.

Our Administrator is an important connection between the Community, the Steering Committee, and our Spiritual Leader. The ideal candidate has experience as an Administrator or a relevant administrative role and is familiar with office software- MS Office and Quickbooks.

Excellent communication and people skills required. 

On-going tasks, responsibilities, and duties include:

• Weekly compilation and submission of eNewsletter

• Coordinate the B’nai Or Calendar of Services & Events
• Update content on website
• Participate in Steering Committee monthly meetings (predominantly on Zoom)

• Create and monitor annual budget
• Prepare the annual Membership Directory and manage membership registration
