Director of Youth Education and Engagement at Congregation B’nai Amoona.

Congregation B’nai Amoona, a vibrant innovative Conservative Synagogue in St. Louis Missouri, is excited to hire a new team player!  Our formal education program includes Kindergarten through 12th Grade with informal opportunities for all youth beginning in 3rd grade. Approximately 120 students are engaged in formal learning at B’nai Amoona with an additional 80 students at our local Community Day School. This past year our USY chapter won Chapter of the Year. 

This position encompasses the Director of Meyer Kranzberg Learning Center (MKLC) as well as being the Informal Youth Director for the Congregation.  There are some responsibilities associated with our on site summer day camp, Camp Ramot Amoona. You would be a valuable member of the programming team at B’nai Amoona.

Supervision: This position is supervised and supported by Liessa Demba Alperin. 

Expectations are of a full time position with Sunday responsibilities and once a month Shabbat mornings.  There will be limited travel with our Youth Group teens as well as staffing Youth Programming one night a week.

Required:

Bachelors in Education, Social Work, or other related degrees.

Preferred: Masters Degree or Experience in Similar Field

This is a full-time position with a benefits package including Paid Health Insurance for the employee.  We look forward to hiring someone in the early Spring, however we will wait until June for the right candidate!

Salary: $40,000-$50,000, commensurate with experience.
